Three years ago before and when I moved to Colorado, I was DEATHLY afraid of heights. Like I’m talking, getting on a step ladder gave me anxiety.. not to mention everything that my friends thought was fun (roller coasters & crazy adventures w/ heights) I thought the complete opposite. I had a crippling fear of heights and falling. I decided when I moved that I would no longer succumb to the fear that made what should be fun, impossible for me. I started challenging myself, telling myself i could do these things and instead of focusing on the fear focusing on the possibility that I too could have fun challenging myself.

Fast forward to a couple days ago meeting Logan & his crew for the first time, climbing for the first time EVER, and conquering this amazing Via Ferrata experience!

It’s a challenging course that almost all ages can take on! The equipment and knowledgeable guides will help you mentally and physically prepare for the climb and help you stay safe. They’re there if you need help, encouragement, and instruction. They pay attention to the group’s and individuals’ needs when climbing - clear communication on both ends is key.

This course will challenge you physically & mentally. You are legit on the side of a cliff hundreds of feet up but you are CLIPPED IN on 90% of the trail & 100% when climbing.

You HAVE TO experience this for yourself, whether that’s a solo trip, a date with your partner or a family adventure!

Logan is an Ouray local with extensive knowledge about the town, its history, the mining and geological history, tourism in the area, etc. He is a HUGE part of the community and has created an awesome experience that is within and overlooks all of Ouray.

He’s humble, kind, enthusiastic and a great coach & leader. 10/10 recommend this Via Ferrata and the others Logan & Basecamp Ouray offer! You will not be disappointed - Jessica Hatch - Google Review
