This Via Ferrata route complements the wild river and mountain scenery of the Ouray Ice Park, giving you a vantage point as you’ve never experienced before. Built with steel cables and metal steps attached to the rock, our course allows you to scale the walls above the Uncompahgre River–one of the most stunning scene-scapes in Colorado’s San Juans.

Expect an exhilarating 2-4 hour experience that combines physical activity with stunning natural beauty. You'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Uncompahgre River and lush surroundings, accompanied by the river's powerful roar. The adventure features two unique river crossings: one on a single steel cable and another on a 75ft suspension ladder.

This trip is suitable for all levels, from experienced climbers to beginners, offering a unique way to enjoy the rock and scenery. No previous climbing experience is required, but a reasonable level of fitness is necessary, along with the ability to climb a ladder and handle heights between 10-40 feet.
