Rock Climbing FAQ

  • As a beginner, you'll need a few essential pieces of equipment: a climbing harness, climbing shoes, a helmet, a belay device, and carabiners. For your trip with us, all of this equipment is included, so you don't need to worry about purchasing or bringing your own gear.

  • Safety in rock climbing is paramount. Always climb with a partner and use a belay device to control the rope during climbs. Check your equipment before each climb, adhere to safety protocols, and never climb beyond your comfort level. Our guided trips will have experienced instructors to ensure your safety and provide guidance.

  • Start with easier routes (graded 5.5 to 5.7) to get comfortable with climbing techniques and movements. Practice regularly, focus on building your grip strength, and learn from more experienced climbers. Consider taking a beginner’s climbing course to learn the basics effectively

  • Rock climbing can be physically challenging, as it requires upper body strength, endurance, and flexibility. However, it's also a progressive sport, meaning you can start at a level that's comfortable for you and gradually increase the difficulty as your fitness improves.
